Josh Nava is a multidisciplinary maker, designer, and educator who has dedicated his career to empowering local and international communities through the artisan trades.
He is the author of the bestselling book “How to Whittle”, which teaches the art of carving beautiful and useful items out of wood.
Josh has taught maker skills, design, and the learning process to thousands of people in the US, internationally and online. His work has been featured in Fine Woodworking, Life & Thyme, Skillshare and many other publications. He believes that everyone can learn new skills at any age, and that doing so can transform lives and communities.
